Casino winner drives away £40k car

After opening nearly one month ago, The Casino MK has come up trumps by giving away a brand new Audi Q5 car worth a staggering £40,000 to one lucky winner.

The prize draw was made on Monday night by Olympic medal-winning badminton star Gail Emms inside the venue at Xscape. Over a thousand people were there on the night to see if they would be the name drawn out from the thousands of entries collected since the casino opened on 5 September.

In the end the winner was Andrew Brisland from Milton Keynes and they were elated to know they get to go and choose their very own, brand new car, from Milton Keynes Audi.

Andrew commented on the night “It’s still really hard to believe, I was concentrating on my poker game and then I heard ‘Andrew’ being called out and thought that would be funny, then I heard my surname! It’s hard to explain the feeling, nothing like this ever happens to me. Winning a car is life changing, even at my age.”

General Manager at The Casino MK, Nigel Hartland said after the draw “We wanted to do something big to celebrate our very successful opening in Milton Keynes and you can’t get much bigger than giving away a brand new car. We hope that Mr Brisland enjoys his new Audi and maybe comes back to visit us again soon.”
