Get in the groove this Easter at The Hub

Wed 24 Mar 2010

On Sunday 4 April you can join Buckingham dance group, Desperate2Dance, in a series of open dance classes in the central piazza at The Hub.

As well as inviting you to take part and learn some moves, Desperate2Dance will be performing their set piece performance workshops which, in the spirit of Easter, will have a ‘Bunnies and Bonnets’ theme to help your Easter Sunday go with a swing and perhaps burn off some of those chocolate egg calories at the same time.

Dance sessions start at 1pm and will continue until 3pm. All ages and abilities will be warmly welcomed.

For those of you who prefer to watch the dancing rather than take part, the restaurants, cafes and coffee shops at The Hub will be open all day  to serve you a wide range of food and drinks whilst you enjoy the shows.

Kim Hodge of Desperate2Dance, who will be on hand to help you take to the floor, said: ‘’Desperate2Dance was formed to encourage people to get up and dance. The dance crew are mainly aged between 6 and 18, but we really encourage people of all ages to come along and take part. It’s great fun, good exercise and it’s totally free. Come along to The Hub and try it out for yourself. You won’t regret it’’.

The Hub is located in central Milton Keynes between Midsummer and Avebury Boulevards. There is plenty of car parking and a number of quality food and drink outlets to help you enjoy your Easter Sunday in style.
