The Hub Milton Keynes will host a colourful Charity Bazaar on Sunday 24th July, from 12pm to 3pm.  Staged in the central Piazza of the popular restaurant and leisure destination, and with the support of new radio station MKFM who will broadcast live from the event, organisers Jardine Michelson have engaged many of the area’s most well-known and best loved charities.

Among the organisations already signed up are the Willen Hospice, Spinal Injuries Association, MK Play, Ride High, VICTA (Visually Impaired Children Taking Action), HULA (Home for Unwanted and Lost Animals), The National Trust, The Rotary Club, MK Bereavement Service, Toybox, MK Mind, NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children), MacIntyre, MK Snap and the MK Hospital Charity fundraising for the ‘Little Lives’ Appeal.   We are also grateful to Pasquier UK (French Family Bakery since 1936) for donating toys to the Bazaar.  Under the cover of a large marquee, the Piazza is set to become alive with stalls representing a diverse range of charities offering retro clothing, toys, DVDs,books, CDs, bric-a-brac, face painting, home made cakes, Raffle…and much more!

“We are delighted by the enthusiastic response from local charities,” said Simon Spavins, managing director of The Hub’s management company, Broadoak .  “We welcome this initiative, and very much hope that this Charity Bazaar will prove to be a well supported, enjoyable family day out for the benefit of a whole host of good causes.”
