Milton Keynes College is delighted to announce a year-long, graduate internship scheme which will see 12 university leavers employed and trained at the College from August 2014.

Internships are aimed at graduates who have an interest in working in the exciting Further Education sector and who would like to develop a range of rich and transferable skills. On offer are a range of teaching, learning and coaching roles and also positions within business support functions including HR, Data Analysis and Marketing. As well as earning a competitive allowance, interns will be able to benefit from gaining a teaching qualification or one relevant to their chosen business support area fully funded by the College.

Throughout the programme, a named mentor will guide the graduates through their roles, while the College itself will offer a supportive and rewarding working environment and continued professional development. There is also the opportunity to apply for a permanent post in the organisation on successful completion of the graduate scheme.

College Principal and CEO, Dr Julie Mills, is thrilled to be working with recent graduates, explaining, “This is an exciting opportunity for 12 enthusiastic graduates to gain valuable experience within our vibrant and diverse college community. I’m looking forward to welcoming the interns into the team and helping them take their first steps on the career ladder.”
