Throughout the summer Milton Keynes College is connecting with the local community to showcase the talents and skills developed by our students.

At the centre of the summer’s activities is the College’s first ever Festival in the City (10th to 14th June), a free five-day event located in Middleton Hall at the centre:mk across multiple stages, tents and arenas which will provide the perfect platform for bringing our student talent, community and employer partnerships to life.

Each day will feature a number of exciting and interactive highlights, taking the form of a summer festival with a packed line-up and headline acts.

The Center Parcs Main Stage will be devoted to careers and employability advice, with topics for discussion including interview techniques, CV writing and getting back into work after a career break.  Expert advice from Xero, REED recruitment and our own Workability team will provide unique tips and tricks for anyone looking for work to use at all stages of their job search.

Further presentations will take place in the Xero live tent from our Business & Leadership team, including guidance to smash your targets, marketing and social media plus the future of business. There’s also a number of hands-on demonstrations from the College’s construction, motor vehicles and technology departments, bringing our vocational courses to life.
