The Hub welcomes independent restaurant Aqua

Mon 03 Jun 2013

After much anticipation, brand new independent restaurant Aqua finally opened to the public last Friday, after hosting a launch party on the Thursday evening.

Aqua is located off Avebury Boulevard in The Hub and the stunning restaurant has been immaculately renovated to very high standards and includes the only mezzanine dining area in The Hub overlooking Milton Keynes to the south west.

Live music got the party started with over 300 guests enjoying the management’s hospitality with cocktails and Italian aperitifs, and then sampling some of the menu with anti-pasti boards, pizza, mini-burgers, chicken Milanese, calamari, arancini, roast pork belly and much more.

The Italian menu is tailored to tempt and includes delicious vegetarian options and seasonal specials and uses produce sourced locally; with an eye for wholesome, organic options, the choices are healthy, tasty and beautifully presented.

A number of different menus are available including á la carte, set lunch and early dinner, specials and even a Sunday Roast. The restaurant also offers a relaxed bar area for coffee and cake during the day and pre-meal drinks and cocktails in the evening; as well as a formal dining area and, of course, that mezzanine level for an extra touch of class.

Ben Smithson, Operations Manager for Aqua, commented “We are really excited to finally open Aqua in Milton Keynes after the success of our existing restaurants in the South West. Milton Keynes has very discerning diners and we look forward presenting our traditional Italian dishes from the many regions of the country.”

Simon Spavins, Managing Director of Broadoak Management, the managing agent for The Hub said, “Aqua brings a stylish and elegant quality to Milton Keynes and it’s fantastic to welcome another independent restaurant to The Hub; it broadens the choice for our customers and we’re sure they’ll be impressed by the dining experience Aqua offers them.”
