Zombies and ghosts light up The Hub

Mon 04 Nov 2013

Halloween got even spookier this year, when a weird mixture of zombies, freakishly tall ghosts, fire eaters and dancers descended on The Hub to entertain the crowds.

Hundreds of people enjoyed the free Halloween event which included street performers like    ‘Flambe Circus’ who literally lit up the night sky, whilst giant stilt-walking ghostly figures wandered around the piazza and a scary zombie frightened adults and children alike.

Local dance troupe ‘Frantic Flo’ kept the crowds entertained with excellent routines set to suitably scary music. MK Play Association also got involved letting children carve pumpkins, make their own wands and decorate masks.

The highlight for many was the fancy dress competition which was open to different age groups and adults, there was even a small dog called Mozart who came dressed for the occasion. Prizes from Nando’s and Cafe Rouge were awarded to some fantastic entrants by our very own judge dressed as Sharon Osbourne!
